Does God “Supply All Your Needs”?
In this episode Dr. Betters answers the question, "My question is about the.verse in Philippians that says "My God will supply all your needs." I had a low-paying job that worked out unless something broke, in which case I couldn't fix it. Eventually my car gave out, taking my job with it, and limiting my options. I DO have free medical coverage based on my low income (now no income), but I have bills and home repair needs, and I've been without hot water for over a year. So it's hard for me to conclude all my needs are being supplied. I want to believe the promise is true, but to some degree my experience is contradicting that, and my faith is in shreds. Am I taking the promise out of context? Was it only really applicable to the Philippians in response to their generosity? Thanks!"
