EP 114 Somewhere in the Winds of Grace
Deborah, the Judge, teaches much about leadership. She enlisted help, knew her own limitations, was motivated by God’s Command and promises, she was present, she had a plan, she had a dynamic, bold faith. She lived the exchanged life. In this message we learn more about the exchanged life, that faith is not what a man can do but rather a gift from God given out of grace to men and women who recognize they are powerless without Him. We see from Deborah that faith does not always play it safe but is willing to take risks in absolute obedience to our God. Faith is tempered by adversity when there is nowhere to look but up, when we are outnumbered, out armed and out positioned.
