  • Delcastle Recreation Park 2920 Duncan Road Wilmington, DE, 19808 United States (map)

When: Saturday, September 13th, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Where: Delcastle Recreation Park - 2920 Duncan Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808

Every year, Face the Facts and other organizations come together in New Castle County to raise awareness about the overdose epidemic affecting our state and beyond. This event is a special opportunity to remember the lives lost and to connect with others who are experiencing similar challenges.

This FREE community event provides a judgment-free space for gathering. It is essential to ensure that resources are available to those in need and that the community knows they exist.

Here is a quick note from the co-founder and Executive Director of Face the Facts, Penny Rogers:

“This event holds deep personal significance to us. In 2017, I tragically lost my son to a heroin overdose. Since then, my family and I have worked tirelessly to honor his memory, raise awareness, and support others affected by substance use disorder. Our goal is to provide a space for remembrance and healing while offering valuable resources to those impacted by overdose and addiction. This year marks the 6th anniversary of our event, and we are proud of the continued impact it has had on our community. We expect over 1,000 attendees and more than 100 exhibitors. The event will feature family-friendly activities such as face painting, bounce houses, and crafts, ensuring that children who have been affected by this epidemic have a fun-filled and positive day.”

We are honored to participate in this event and join others in spreading awareness while shining the light of Jesus in the darkness.
