What does the Bible say about single women in ministry?

In this episode, Dr. Betters answers the following question from Rhonda: "I have heard many people espouse Paul’s teachings about singleness and marriage. I am a single woman who has never married. I am not single by my own choice, but I do have a desire to be married. In serving in ministry, I have found that most churches tend to shun single women in ministry, especially single women who are called into children’s ministry. The trend is to have a husband and wife team, believing it is a good balance and representation of godly relationships. Can you explain what the Bible has to say about this?"
