How do I find joy in the mundane tasks of motherhood?
In this episode, Dr. Betters answers the question, "I’m a stay at home mom and have been for the past 2 years. I used to work in corporate America, wore a suit and lead important meetings and now all I do is change diapers, pick up toys and do laundry day in and day out. I barely recognize myself anymore. When my husband comes home, I’m exhausted. When he asks me how my day was I basically repeat the same thing I said yesterday and all the days before that. I am beginning to resent him when he tells me about his day, his big lunch meeting at a nice restaurant. I feel insignificant. How do I find joy in these mundane tasks?"
