The Next Chapter of MARKINC Ministries

Beyond the Horizon:

For over 30 years, MARKINC has been a beacon of hope for those walking through life's darkest valleys. Kicking off 2026, we aren't just looking back at where we've been; we are intentionally building for the next generation. This is more than a new look; it’s a commitment to being a "Warehouse of Hope" that is more accessible, relevant, and powerful than ever before.

Beyond The Horizon

Meet Our New Executive Director

After a intentional season of prayer and searching, MARKINC is thrilled to announce Douglas Clarke as our new Executive Director. Bringing a deep background in biblical counseling and a heart for ministry leadership, Doug is stepping into this role to lead MARKINC into its next chapter of growth and innovation. His vision is focused on expanding our reach, modernizing our resources, and ensuring that the hope of the Gospel remains at the center of everything we produce.

Active Ministry & Engagement
In his new role, Douglas is prioritizing direct outreach and teaching. He is currently piloting the upcoming Theology of Addiction curriculum through speaking engagements at the Bowling Green Treatment Center and church leadership retreats, ensuring MARKINC’s new resources are tested and refined "in the trenches" of ministry. We are excited to see how God uses his leadership to equip the local church for the complex challenges of today.

"Our goal is to take the 30-year legacy of MARKINC and place it directly where people are hurting today. We are building the tools to help local churches and families address complex struggles like addiction with biblical truth and compassionate insight".

We Rebranded.
New Look, Same Mission.

February 25-26, 2027

Inaugural MARKINC Ministries Conference on Opioid Abuse

We are officially looking toward February 25–26, 2027, for a landmark event: MARKINC Ministries Conference on Opioid Abuse. Partnering with leading voices and seminaries like Westminster Theological Seminary, we aim to equip the local church to address substance use disorders through a reformed biblical lens. This isn't just an event; it's a launching pad for a new era of resources.

Innovation in Progress

The Help and Hope Miniseries:
Professional video stories of redemption and restoration, along with the experiences of individuals and families affected by life’s most difficult struggles.

Theology of Addiction Curriculum:
A 16-lesson study being adapted into 15-minute video lessons for small group use.

A New Production Studio:
Currently under construction to ensure our digital resources are of the highest standard.

Digitizing:
We are digitizing our vast sermon archives, ensuring Dr. Betters’ decades of teaching are accessible for generations to come.

Three New Books: Dr. Betters is writing three new books, beginning with Learning to See When the Lights Go Out, a new resource on grief coming in late 2026.

We’re expanding our reach and support base.

We’ve seen an increase in demand for hope and as a response, we are expanding our reach across social platforms to impact this generation and growing our support base to ensure we can financially sustain those who rely on us.
