EP 131 A Woman After God's Own Heart 12-35

She was sterile and remained childless, we don’t know for how long. . Her people did evil in the eyes of the Lord, so the Lord delivered them into the hands of the Philistines for forty years. During that time of discipline, an angel visited this nameless woman and told her that she would conceive and have a son. The angel gave her specific instructions on how to raise this child because he was to be set apart to God from birth. And wonder of wonders, he would be the man who would begin the deliverance of Israel from the bondage of the Philistines. And so begins the story of Samson.
