Every year on Memorial Day weekend, thousands of veterans, active military, and their families converge on Washington DC at the Vietnam Memorial to complete the annual “Run For The Wall” event to promote healing among all veterans, their families, and friends. This is a sacred time that creates receptive hearts to the help and hope that Jesus gives. In response the deep needs of our military families, MARKINC Ministries has distributed thousands of CDs on war and the gospel since 2010. This year, on May 27th, MARKINC is again returning to DC for the "Run for the Wall" event and they are looking for volunteers to not only hand out CDs, but also engage with veterans who might have already received these CDs in the past and have a conversation with them about the gospel and hopefully even lead them to saving faith!
If you are interested in taking part in this event, join MARKINC at our information session Sunday April 23rd from 12:15-1:15pm at Reach Church's (formerly named Glasgow Church) Fellowship Hall. Training for this event will be on May 16th in from 6:30-8:30pm at Reach Church's Fellowship Hall and dinner will be provided.
The event will take place on May 27th. A bus will leave Reach Church's parking lot at 7AM to take the team down to DC and the bus will leave DC at 4PM to return back to Delaware.
The cost of partaking in this event is $20. If this is a financial hardship for you, please email markinc@markinc.org as scholarships are available and we don't want cost to be the reason that someone doesn't join us on this special day.
